Sales Engineer

Based in Wyoming, MI All Tech Engineering, a family based, privately owned, and operated, progressive,

Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepares cost estimates, quotations by studying all related customer RFQ documents,
    consulting with our support personnel as well as outside resources.
  • Submits quotations by conferring with technical support staff and costing the
    customer requirements, new jobs, engineering changes etc.
  • Identifies customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport
    with current and potential customers.
  • Establishes new accounts and service existing accounts by planning
    and organizing a sales call schedule.
  • Assists internal disciplines in the kickoff off and follow up of awarded business.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • HR 4-8 hours weekly
  • Create purchase orders for the acquisition of materials utilizing internal
    purchasing practices and following Company process and authorization.
  • Manages inventory levels to assure maximum availability to meet company's business
    operating plan but strives for lowest inventory levels.
  • Generate Purchase Orders
  • Manages vendors, assures proper evaluation of vendors for best
    cost/best business practices for sourcing.
  • Hold subcontract suppliers accountable that are not meeting expectations
    and issue corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Discuss scorecard for quality, delivery, ease of business, and total spend.
    Review open corrective actions and hold the suppliers accountable to due dates.
  • Provide strong support and partnership with Sales/Project management.
  • Subcontract Supplier Assessments
  • Supplier development - continue to explore new options, alternative suppliers.
  • Secures most cost-effective delivery method for sourcing.
  • Identify market trends, supplier capabilities, optimize long-term purchasing decisions.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or technical school with 5 or more years' experience in Purchasing
    preferably in automation field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience/understanding how to use an ERP/MRP system, critical paths within,
    be prepared to discuss proficiency level.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, work orders, engineering specifications,
    safety rules, work rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information, communicate,
    and respond to questions from team members, and vendors.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
    or schedule form. Must possess good critical thinking skills.

    Tracking Job Costs, Time tracking, WIP.


Senior Controls Engineer

Automation/Tooling Engineers/Designers/Detailers

Based in Wyoming, MI All Tech Engineering designs and builds special machines and tooling for the automotive,
agricultural, furniture, and appliance industries. We are looking for 1st shift full or part time
designers and detailers with the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with 2d and 3d modeling software designing special machines. (3D Solidworks)
  • Ability to take a design from concept to completion with minimal assistance.
  • Experience and exposure to automated equipment and tooling.
  • Understanding of machining and fabricating processes.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Welder

Based in Wyoming, MI All Tech Engineering designs and builds special machines and tooling for the automotive,
agricultural, furniture, and appliance industries. We are looking for a first shift full time welder.
The job detail will vary day to day. A candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Strong Tig and Mig Welding skills and at least 5 years' experience
  • Ability to weld SS thin wall tubing
  • Ability to weld close tolerances
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Good listening/learning skills, and willing to work with others
  • Must have your own tools
  • Valid driver's license
